Thames Technology is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the EcoVadis silver sustainability rating for its commitment to the environment and sustainability.

The silver sustainability rating places Thames Technology in the top 25% of organisations working towards sustainability and offering greener products and services.

Recently Thames Technology introduced its most environmentally friendly gift card and carrier solution to help its retail clients reduce their carbon footprint.

Its premium quality paperboard gift cards are made from Holmen Iggesund’s Invercote Duo board and Incada gift card carriers both of which are produced without the use of fossil fuels. Together, these two materials form the greenest solution possible which Thames Technology is delighted to be able to offer to its clients.

Over 90% of waste produced by Thames Technology is recycled. In addition, all general waste is used in the production of pellets for power stations, which means that no waste is sent to landfill.

Commenting on the EcoVadis silver sustainability rating, Che Colford, General Manager at Thames Technology, said:

“We are incredibly proud to have achieved the EcoVadis silver sustainability rating. We are committed to adhering to stringent environmental guidelines and we actively embrace corporate responsibility throughout the business.

“The rating highlights Thames Technology’s dedication to sustainability and we are continuously working to reduce our impact on the environment.”
